随着先进的通讯和交通工具的发展，各国之间经济上的依赖关系日益密切，世界正变得越来越小, 目前席卷全球的文化冲突和对话，正体现着人类精神视野的不断交流融合.特别是社会信息化提高, 国际互联网的开通使更多的人足不出户便涉及到跨文化交际。这一节课就是节日的跨文化活动，我的设计如下：

T: As we all know every country has its own culture feature. Different culture  influences the country development in different ways. Nowadays we have  learned something about it. There are many festivals in China and foreign countries. And they celebrate them in different ways. Now we will talk about the difference between them. Ask students to look for some information about Christmas Day in British and Spring Festival in China before class. They can be on-line in the Internet or read books or magazines)

• Ss: Ok!
  T: First I’ll tell you I know some differences.English friends often eat a special pie and drink a special wine before Christmas Day. They regard the Christmas Day as our Spring Festival. On Christmas Eve, they give gifts to each other, especially on Christmas Eve, Parents let their children’s go to bed early and tell them at night the Christmas Father will give gifts to them. When their children  has been asleep, their fathers often dressed as Christmas Father and give their children gifts when their children has been asleep. The next day, children are very happy to see their gifts. Could you complete what I didn’t say and tell me something about Spring Festival? Please discuss in groups. We’ll find which group know more and can say it in English fluently? Now let’s begin.
