While-reading  (具体分为5个步骤)
1. Fast reading to get general idea (individual work)
2. Find the topic sentence of each paragraph.
( first individual work, then pair work)
3. Careful reading to get the detailed information. 
Choose the best answers according to the reading passage.
( first individual work, then group work)
4. Deal with the important language points. ( discussion)
  5. Give a summary .
读中活动要有层次性，让学生一层一层地阅读下来，每一层都会有所收获，这样整个阅读过程就很丰满。阅读过程中，第一个层面的目标是懂，第二个层面的目标是细，第三个层面的目标是深。读中小组之间的信息交流非常有效。
以上设计想要达到的教学目的为：一是发展学生和培养学生的阅读技巧；二是理解，从理解大意到理解细节、提取信息等。
