What do you know about this western festival? Collect ss’s answers and then show them pictures on the screen and tell them the story of this festival. Make the ss know the history, custom of this festival. TT: Actually, the Valentine’s Day is not the oldest festival for loved people in the world. There is an old Lovers’ Day which can date back to 2000 years ago. Do you know which festival is it? SS: 七夕。 T: You are so clever. Yes you are right , the oldest Lover’s Day is celebrated in China.
