语言是文化的载体,是文化表达和传播的工具,语言与文化是密不可分的。语言的学习不可能离开文化,外语教学从某种程度上来讲就是文化教学。现代语言教学必然要有文化因素,因为语言不仅是文化的载体,而且语言本身也是文化的一个组成部分,所以教语言不触及到文化,教学任务根本无法完成。跨文化交际指具有不同文化背景的人们之间的交际,因此跨文化交际能力除具备一般的交际能力要求以外,还必须具有跨文化意识和能力。跨文化交际能力要求交际双方必须具有对文化差异的敏感性、对文化差异的宽容性和处理文化差异的灵活性。交际活动片断设计: Step 1: Introduce myself first. Hello, everyone! I’m very glad to know you! From now on, I’ll be your English teacher. I hope we will become good friends. If you have any difficulty in learning English, you can ask me for help. I’ll try my best. I also hope you can help each other and become good friends. Now, I know you come from different places and you must want to know each other, so let’s begin! Step 2: The students introduce themselves to the others. I want to divide the class into four groups. You can have a free-talk now. Please try to get more information about your classmates in your groups. You can ask him or her some questions to get the information, such as: What’s your name? Where are you from? What do you do after class? What do you have for breakfast usually ? What will you do when you meet someone for the first time? and so on. Then write the information down that you have got in your notebook. Step 3: Check the information with the whole class. Every group should ask their group monitor to collect the information of their group. Then all the groups communicate with each other.
